Salomon Adventure Challenge:
Canadian Championship
Esprit Rafting - Fort Coulonge, QC
Saturday September 24, 2005

Recalling the excitement and competitive spirit of the 2004 Salomon AC Champs in Calabogie, our vision is to host truly national Canadian Championship races in both sprint and weekend-length adventure racing in 2005. Great pricing, huge prizing, fabulous race course location, free racing in 2006 for top teams, and a memorable season-ending wrap up party!

Esprit Rafting, near Fort Coulonge, QC will make a wild and exciting host site for the Champs races this year. The area offers exceptional course design opportunities, including daunting rockfaces and canyons, and churning whitewater of all levels.. The race will be the highlight of the 2005 season:

  • Open to Everyone. While this will be a competitive race with the best teams in Canada, there are no qualifications or restrictions. If your team is looking for a longer race experience, this is the best opportunity - it's exactly the same course structure as our 14-hour long course events.

  • Great pricing. Only $495 for the Salomon AC: Canadian Champs until August 12!

  • Huge prizing. Over $10,000CDN in prizing value, including a free racing for all 2006 Salomon AC events, and gear from sponsors like Salomon, Princeton Tec, Super Wool, Pristine, Backroad Mapbooks, Eureka!, Fugawi and more.

  • Introducing Winner's Jerseys for 2005. The highly coveted Gold (1st place), Red (2nd place), and Blue (3rd place) racing jerseys will be up for grabs at all SAC and RTN events in 05. Jerseys will feature the host site race name, and will become the team's jerseys for the Champs race.

  • The newly named all-female category that has exploded this year, the ‘Salomon Women Will…’ category – which threesome of ladies will take the Canadian AR Crown this time?

  • …and as always, yet another super-fun racecourse in the true spirit of adventure racing!
